Shelter
in Leon
We are currently building the Dennis Martinez
Foundation Shelter in Leon, Nicaragua. It is being developed
in a 65-acre lot that was donated by a family member of Sister
Paula Hidalgo, the person in charge of the facility.
The
primary purpose of the shelter is to provide a safe, secure
and warm atmosphere to orphan, homeless and abandoned children;
many of them victims of hurricane Mitch. We currently provide
meals, education, clothing and medical care to over 200 children,
ranging from newborns to 16 year olds.
Our
doors are always open to anyone in need of our help. With
your generosity we can continue to give hope to all the kids
that come to us.
